Hilde joined the GNBCC as general manager on the 1 st of February 2025.
With over 20 years of leadership experience in Africa, she brings her expertise in finance,
project management and business development to the members and stakeholders of the
GNBCC . Before joining GNBCC, she has worked for Shell in Belgium and was part of the
team starting up and developing Promasidor Ghana Ltd., better known through its brand
names Cowbell and Onga.
She was a co-founder of Kenyio Ltd., a Ghanaian business creating and producing local
quality food products with distribution in West-Africa and in Europe.
As GNBCC embarks on its next phase of growth, she is committed to expanding member
services, strengthening trade and investment between Ghana and the Netherlands, and
fostering business opportunities for Dutch companies. Under the Private Sector
Development umbrella, the GNBCC will continue to create opportunities for SMEs, youth
employment and women entrepreneurs.
The GNBCC will enhance its role as a strategic enabler, supporting Dutch companies
accessing the Ghanaian market as well as Ghanaian businesses in accessing European
markets to create a dynamic, collaborative business community.
Hilde looks forward to working with GNBCC members, partners, and stakeholders to drive
innovation, efficiency, and meaningful impact within the Ghanaian and Dutch business
landscape.
