Mr. Abdul-Karim Dubiure (also known as Abdul Zanni Dudiure Karim) is the Chief Executive
Officer of the Federation of Associations of Ghanaian Exporters (FAGE), the umbrella body
representing Ghana’s non-traditional exporters. Under his leadership, FAGE has emerged as a
driving force in the country’s export ambitions, having helped the sector surpass the
government’s $5 billion non-traditional export target two years ahead of the 2027 deadline.
Building on this momentum, Mr. Dubiure is now leading FAGE toward an even more ambitious
internal goal: $15 billion in non-traditional exports by 2030.
Central to this vision is a series of major infrastructure initiatives under his stewardship,
including the development of cold storage facilities, refrigerated transport, and warehousing
across Ghana’s farming regions to significantly reduce post-harvest losses. He is also
spearheading the creation of an agro-processing and agro-economic zone in Tamale, designed to
serve as a Northern Economic Zone from which agricultural produce can be flown directly to
European markets — a shorter, more efficient route than routing through Accra.
Mr. Dubiure has also strengthened the financial architecture supporting Ghana’s exporters, most
notably through a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with GCB Bank, which will provide
export-oriented SMEs with tailored trade finance, foreign exchange risk management support,
and stronger repatriation of export proceeds.
At GhanaFest Europe: Live in Holland Trade & Cultural Expo in Amsterdam, Mr. Dubiure
brings this wealth of experience in export strategy, agricultural value chains, and trade
infrastructure to a global stage, offering valuable insight into Ghana’s non-traditional export
growth story and the opportunities it presents for European partners and investors.
